Heller Expands Microsoft Practice with CRM Development Expert
The veteran nonprofit tech bench at Heller Consulting has been augmented with the hire of Karen Harris Melendez as our Microsoft Practice Business Lead.
Karen brings to the practice more than 25 years’ experience working with nonprofit organizations in roles including software development, database administration, CRM migrations, custom API implementations, and development operations. She has a rare skill set that spans IT, CRM product development, professional services, and front-line nonprofit work.
This key hire will allow Heller to diversify and strengthen its offerings to nonprofits and higher ed advancement teams that are working with Microsoft products, including:
- Microsoft Dynamics implementations,
- Leveraging Microsoft Power Apps to extend existing systems,
- PowerBI dashboard development,
- Data planning for Microsoft Fabric use cases, and
- The use of AI for program and development teams.
Heller has been supporting nonprofits using Microsoft products since the last century. We were one of the first professional service firms focused solely on nonprofits to partner with Microsoft’s Technology for Social Impact group and we were an official launch partner for Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofits.
