Do you want to make a difference – not just in your job, but in the world?

Do you love the energy of sales but also want your work to align with your values?

Do you want to wake up energized and end your day satisfied?

Do you want to be part of a smart, dedicated, hard-working team who will collaborate with you and appreciate your efforts?

Heller Consulting helps nonprofits be smarter in effectively choosing and using technology to expand the impact of their vital missions.  Our clients include forward-thinking nonprofits advocating for important causes, serving those in need, caring for animals and the environment, providing education and healthcare, responding to international disasters, sharing and promoting the arts, and many other great causes.  Your efforts can help them do all of this better.

In joining Heller as an Account Executive, you’ll be joining a team of highly motivated, highly collaborative, intelligent, funny and committed folks.  We do what we do because we believe in nonprofits, and we believe in each other.  We also enjoy technology and geeking out for good causes.  You don’t need to love technology, but you do need to be able to talk about it and, with our initial help, convey to prospective clients how our knowledge can be helpful to them.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and a motivating team builder. Your focus in this role is making connections with people and inspiring them to achieve results. Poise and an engaging, empathetic communication style are the key to achieving your goals. While the role requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people. Knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding how their individual needs and motivations link to goals is essential. The role requires a high degree of “selling”, whether of ideas and policies within the prospects’ organization, or products or services in the marketplace. You will enjoy a variety of tasks and a dynamic and changing environment. The ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to the changing environment is a critical key to success.

Although you’ve likely got a good sense of it by now, it’s really important to us that you know (and share) our values – you’ll find them here along with much more about us.

Interested?  Tell us why, why you’d be a good fit, and what’s important to you in your work and beyond your work, and send along with your resume to hcaejob@teamheller.com.
